Enterocele Confirmed by Preoperative Defecography

Abstract

|
Enterocele is a herniation of the peritoneum of the cul-de-sac with invagination of the sac into the rectovaginal septum.
We report 3 patients with enterocele. They were confirmed by preoperative defecography showing the barium filled small bowel herniation into the rectovaginal septum.
